Article Writing Tips – Keep it Simple If You Have To

This is not a knock on non English speaking people. However, there is a cold hard reality in this world that most of our written word on the Internet is in English. Yes, there are opportunities elsewhere for non English written word, but they are limited in scope. Having said that, if you are non English speaking but have a simple command of the written English word, you can still write articles in this language IF you keep it simple. In this article, I’m going to show you how to do this.

For starters, you want to keep your sentences short. Believe me, as a native English speaker, I have a habit of running off at the mouth. It’s not a good thing. I should even try to keep my sentences short but sometimes my brain just won’t let me…like now. Point is, if you keep your sentences short, you reduce the risk of grammatical errors. If you do that, your articles will be easier to read and will also get approved a lot quicker by the various directories and submission services. In other words, keep it simple.

Another way to keep your writing simple is to actually write on simple topics. If you’re going to try to write about advanced physics, you’re going to run into a lot of trouble. However, if you’re writing an article on something like gardening, you’ll be dealing with a subject that is going to be easier to write about. If you check out my various articles around the Internet, you will find that none of them are on very complicated subjects. Even as a native English speaker, I don’t want to go writing about things that are going to make me strain my brain.

Finally, keep the articles short. Yes, there are minimum word requirements for most directories and submission sites but they are not very strict. Some are as few as 250 words minimum, which is way below the word count of this very simple article.

So if you’re not a native English speaker, don’t fret. You can still write articles that people can enjoy reading and get something out of.

    Just like this one.
