    Copywriting Tips – How Can I Get My Prospect To Buy?

    Isn’t that the bottom line when it comes to your sales copy…getting the prospect down to the very bottom of the sales page to your buy now button and getting him to click on it and follow through with the purchase? Yes, when all is said and done…that is our ultimate goal and everything else is just nonsense. Okay, so how do we do this? In the article you’re about to read, you’ll discover a few simple things that will greatly increase the chances of your prospect getting down to the bottom of your sales page and clicking on that button.

    The first thing you MUST have is a headline that gets the prospect to read the rest of the page. If the headline is lackluster and makes the prospect yawn, he’s not going to bother reading anything else and therefore will never make it down to the buy now button. So it starts with the headline. It has to get the prospect excited. It has to stand out and literally scream at the prospect. If it doesn’t do this, you’re wasting your time with the rest of your sales letter.

    The second thing you need is a solid offer. So many sales letters have offers that are so dull that I can’t imagine the prospect even caring about it. Your offer has to be an incredible one. It has to be so amazing that the prospect has to literally be hunting for that buy now button without even reading any other part of the copy. When he does that, you know you have a great offer.

    The third thing is to take all the risk away from the prospect. The Internet is a scary place for many people who are afraid of being ripped off. So you have to give them a guarantee that will put their mind at ease…one that lets them breathe a sigh of relief knowing that they can purchase your product and not have to worry about not being able to return it if it’s not what they wanted. Taking away the risk of purchase is probably one of the most important things you can do.

    Finally, there is the call to action. You must literally put the words in their mouths, “Yes, I want to buy this!” If you don’t do that…if you don’t tell them what to do, they won’t do it. It’s that simple.
