All you have to do is take a look at what’s already selling and craft your own unique message around those principles. But how do you know what the good sales letters are? That’s the key. You don’t want to copy styles from sales letters that aren’t converting. Well, there is an easy way to do this and I’m going to show you how in this article.

Most copywriters are doing work for merchants who have their products hosted by the big affiliate marketplaces online. Probably the biggest affiliate marketplace is Clickbank. Now, if you’re not aware of this, if you go to the Clickbank marketplace, you’ll find that if you do a search for products, he default search lists them by popularity. In other words, the top selling product is going to come out at the top of the list. How does this help you?

Well, for each product listed, there is an option to view the pitch page, or sales page. All you have to do is click on that link and it will take you right to the sales letter. From there, all you have to do is look it over and see what it is that makes the letter so effective. You want to look at design, headline, offer, guarantee, bullet points, testimonials, closing, everything. You want to take that letter apart piece by piece to see why it’s so effective. If you go through enough of these letters, you’ll begin to see a pattern.

I can’t even begin to tell you how many sales letters I’ve studied over the years. I’ve learned all the tricks just from looking them over. I have spent exactly zero dollars on copywriting instruction and I make a six figure income selling my own products writing my own copy.
