Why do people have to complicate things? Life is hard enough as it is without taking the simple and turning it into a major project. Affiliate marketing is NOT rocket science. In fact, it is so easy, I don’t understand why anybody has trouble making a living as an affiliate marketer. However, if you’re one of those people who is struggling to make ends meet, this article is going to share three simple things you should do to almost guarantee your success as an affiliate marketer. Keep reading to find out what they are.

At the top of the list, and quite honestly, the most important thing…is demand. I hear so many people talking about trying to find some unknown niche so that they can make their killing. Let me tell you something. If the niche is unknown, it’s probably because there aren’t that many people who give a rat’s behind about it. You’re only going to make so much money if the demand just isn’t there. So go after something big. Don’t be afraid to lock horns with the big boys. It’ll build character.

Next, you want to make sure that you go above and beyond the competition. See, many marketers take the easy and lazy way out. They’ll find a product, generate their affiliate link, buy some PPC traffic and hope for a few sales…doing absolutely no preselling in the process. None of these people stand out. So why not go the extra mile? What’s the extra mile? For starters, and right off the top of my head, why not do a comprehensive review of the product? I’m talking about a real HONEST review…not one of those made up things you see all the time. This alone will put you ahead of most of the competition. Point is…stand out!

Finally, there are many ways to promote a product online…use them! Most affiliates will take the easy way out and just use one method. This leaves a whole lot of money on the table because they’re not reaching a large segment of the population. Google only has 50% of the world market in the search engine wars. What happens to the other 50% of the people if all you’re using is Google? You’re not reaching them…that’s what happens. There is life outside PPC, such as article marketing, solo ezine ads and so on. Use them! You’ll be amazed at how much extra money you make.

Bottom line is this. If you simply just do more than everybody else is doing, you’ll succeed. The human race in general is lazy. People want to do as little work as possible. Therefore, all you have to do is more than the other guy and you’ll succeed.

Yeah, it’s THAT simple.
