Affiliate Marketing Tips – Can You Learn From Other Affiliates?
No CommentsThe question is simple. Can you learn from other affiliate marketers? Let’s be honest, affiliate marketing is a very competitive thing. Affiliates who are selling the same types of products that you’re selling are not just going to hand over their secrets to you unless of course they also write their own books on the subject. So getting info out of them is not easy. Having said that, yes, you CAN learn from other affiliate marketers. In this article, I’m going to show you how easy it is.
First thing you have to do is find out who the top affiliate marketers are. This is actually very easy to do. All you need to do is find all those affiliate marketing products sold by the top gurus and then look to see who the testimonials are coming from. These are usually the top guys in the business.
Once you have the names, the rest of it all comes down to a little reverse engineering. What you need to do is look up their names on the Internet and find any site at all that has their name attached to it. You will no doubt find a few of their blogs, squeeze pages, videos and so on. Next, you want to go to the top products at the Clickbank marketplace and type in THOSE names + the affiliate name. You’ll do all this at the Google search engine of course. This will show you if they are promoting that product anywhere online.
What you then need to do is observe what these people are doing. Are they creating blogs with reviews of the product? Are they making squeeze pages to build a list in order to follow up with these people? Are they creating video reviews for the product? Are they tweeting about the product on Twitter? Are the doing social bookmarking? By simply tracking down every little piece of real estate that these affiliate marketers have online, you can get a pretty good idea of how they’re promoting their products.
The next step is simply to use the same processes that they’re using. Naturally, you want to test them out to see if they work for you, but in most cases, they should. Sure, there will be variables that you won’t be able to account for or even duplicate if you could. The writing is probably going to be the hardest thing to copy. A great writer is always going to have an advantage over somebody who doesn’t write as well. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t work on your writing and improve it.
So as you can see, you CAN learn from other affiliate marketers. It just takes a little research, time and patience.
