    Affiliate marketers don’t seem to understand one thing and it drives me nuts. They seem to forget that they’re not the only ones promoting an affiliate product. There are hundreds of other affiliates promoting that same product. So why should a prospect purchase that product from you? Can you think of a good reason? I mean after all, it’s the same product that they can purchase from any other affiliate. So why you? Well, if you can’t come up with a good answer to that question, maybe this article can help. There are a few things you, as an affiliate, can do to make it so that a prospect would be foolish NOT to buy from you. This article will go over them.

    At the top of the list is knowledge. How many affiliates really take the time to get the product and use it? Not many. So, how much more of a chance of selling that product do you think you’d have if you got the product, used it and then wrote a comprehensive review of it? Do you think maybe you’d be able to sell more product if your prospect could actually see that you personally used the product and got good results from it? If not, you’re not thinking like a real affiliate marketer. It all goes to credibility.

    Another thing you can do, and so few affiliate marketers do this, is offer personal support for the product. Tell the prospect that if they have any questions about using the product that they can contact you and you’ll be happy to help them out. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one affiliate marketer do this. And the reason is simple. They never got the product themselves, never used it and therefore, they can’t possibly support it. They don’t know the first thing about it. Now, I’m not saying you have to use a product to sell it. You don’t. But those who do, and those who are willing to support it are going to make more sales.

    Finally, how about offering a bonus to the prospect if they purchase from you. If you don’t have your own products to offer no problem. Offer them your time, such as a week of mentoring or something similar. There is always something you can offer the prospect that no other affiliate can.

    If you use these three simple tactics when promoting your affiliate products, you will see that you’ll make more sales.

    Yes, it’s that simple.
