Below you will find a comprehensive review of the new edition of Keyword Elite.

Let me first say that there are some bugs in it. There is always going to be bugs with new software, but I know Brad Callen and these bugs will all be ironed out within the first two weeks of the release.

Okay, let’s get to the software. There is a lot to go over so let’s take it one thing at a time.

Overview – Keyword Elite is primarily for doing keyword research for any niches that you decide to get involved in. Brad claims it is the best tool for the job and asked me to take his software for a spin. So I did.

Keyword Surge – This is where we create our initial keyword list. The interface is nice and simple and put together in steps. Step 1, you enter your main keyword phrase. For my first test I entered “Internet Marketing” Now, there are several options here. You can either use the Keyword Elite engine itself OR you can use Google, Ask,com, meta tags or free keywords. You can also have it return anywhere from 100 to 10,000 results using advanced options.

Within seconds, you will get a huge list of keywords that you can then export, save and modify using a variety of tools. To go over every option would take a day. Let’s just say this is quite comprehensive. Honestly, I won’t use most of it, but that’s just me.

Market Research Sleuth – Essentially, what this tool does is it takes your keyword and researches it for competitiveness. You’ll get number of monthly searches, competing sites, R/S ratio (the lower the better), KEI (the higher the better), average cost per click if you’re going to use Adwords, and average position for that phrase. I tried Internet Marketing Tips and almost died…$2.69 per click to get a number one spot. This is a must have tool if you’re going to know how competitive your keywords are.

Adwords Time Machine – This is just evil. What it does, in a nutshell, is it finds advertisers using the keywords that you’re interested in who are running profitable campaigns. Just type in the keywords and you’ll get a list of URLs of these sites along with what keywords they’re targeting in addition to the one you typed in. This way, you don’t have to wonder if the keyword(s) you’re after have a chance of being profitable.

Search Engine Dominator – This part of the program tells you how difficult it will be for you to rank high for your particular keyword. Just type in your keyword and pick your search engines. There are three to choose from including Google and Yahoo, the top 2. You will then get back a screen that will give you the monthly searches, competing sites and then a box that says “calculate”. Just click on that and it will give you your score. If you hover over the calculate column, it will show you what each score range means.

Let me say that the keywords I chose turned out to be very accurate as far as competition strength. Each one I expected to score low did and each one I expected to score high, also did. I was very impressed with this part of the software. It will save you a lot of time beating your brains out trying to compete in very difficult markets.

Adwords Competition Sniper.- It is what it says it is. Essentially, what this does is it finds advertisers who have been promoting using Adwords for a long time, with the keywords you choose, and thus allow you to mirror their campaigns with your own. This is nasty stuff. No wonder Adwords is getting so tough. If everybody is using this, it’s got to be making it hard for a lot of people.

Advanced Google Site Targeter – This part of the software finds sites using Adsense and the keywords you’re targeting. This way, you can use Google’s site targeting feature to run ads specifically on these sites. I’m not big into advertising on content sites but if you are, this is a great tool to have. I won’t be using it.

JV Diamond Miner – This is just brilliant. This part of the software will tell you what sites are building opt in lists. Just type in the keyword(s) and you get the domain itself, the PR of the domain, the Alexa rank (great for IM sites as it’s the only rank that actually works at Alexa) and the ranked URL with the opt in. I don’t know how this software knows that the page is building a list but sure enough, I checked out a few and there it was…an opt in form. This way, you can then contact these sites (knowing they are building a list) and ask them for JVs. In a minute, I’m going to show you exactly how to do this.

CPA Magnet – This is the last part of the software. Essentially, what it does is it finds CPA offers that match your keyword(s). I would have never thought of this since I am not into CPA. So while I won’t be using this, I can see it being very handy for a lot of people. Try typing in “buy car” and see how many related CPA offers you get. I was blown away.

The interface itself is beautiful and so easy to navigate. Just click on NEW on the main screen and it will bring up any of the options I’ve gone over above. So any piece of info is a click or two away.

The only way Brad could have made this any easier was if he had made it so that you could run each of the above options at the same time. Maybe he’ll include that option in a future update.

Bottom Line:

I can’t even say that all this information can be found using other tools, even if you have to use more than one. Some of this stuff, like the CPA tool and the JV Diamond Minor, I have never seen anywhere. But even if you could find these individual tools elsewhere, having them all in one interface, IMO, makes this tool a no brainer. If you’re into keyword research (and what marketer isn’t?) get it.

Okay, now let me tell you what I don’t like.

The software was created for screen resolutions of 1024 minimum. Because my eyesight is so bad, I have to keep my resolution at 800. So the software, in order to use properly, is way too hard for me to read comfortably. If you’ve got bad eyesight like I do and need to keep your PC at 800 x 600, you’re going to have a hard time making the most of this software. It will still run, but parts of each screen won’t be visible. fortunately, the main items still are. But you can’t close the software using the X at the top right hand corner because it’s not visible at 800 x 600. I’ll still use it for what I need, but I wish Brad had made it for larger screen resolutions.

Another thing I don’t like is the launch itself. As a JV partner I got the scoop on the whole thing. If you know me, you know I hate this IM stuff. I keep all my products simple and almost never do an upsell let alone all the other stuff that drives me and a lot of other people crazy.

Anyway, this launch has an upsell, a downsell, an OTO and a forced continuity option. I mean it’s loaded. So the purchasing process is going to be a real pain in the backside. There is no other way to put this. So if you really hate this stuff, this is your fair warning. Don’t go near this launch until after it’s all over with. Also, you can’t even buy the product until August 25. So if you’re reading this before then, don’t expect to find a buy now button just yet.

Having said that, the stuff that Brad is offering is top notch, just like his software, which you actually get for free if you take the forced continuity program. At $47 a month, it’s something to consider. Anyway, I wanted to be up front about this launch. I personally don’t like these tactics, but because the software is so great, I felt you needed to know about it.

Okay, now let’s talk some honest turkey here.

Why should you bother getting this from me?

For one thing, there are plenty of affiliates out there that will be promoting this software. So what makes me special? Aside from that, and you know this as an Internet marketer, you can always just use your own Clickbank hop link to buy this.
