Finding A Hungry Market
Filed under: Home Business, Internet Marketing, Make Money Online; Tagged as: internet marketing strategies, internet marketing strategy, strategic internet marketingNo CommentsMost Internet marketers simply do things in reverse. Sad to say, but it’s true. Instead of doing things the right way, they get a great idea for what they think is a great product, put it together and then go out hoping to find somebody who wants it. It is this mind set that accounts for so much of the failure that we see on the Internet these days. Well, in order to avoid this catastrophic mistake, this article is going to focus on a few ways to find that hungry market that you’re looking for. Hopefully, after reading this, you’ll be armed with some solid ammunition for discovering just who wants what.
It’s much easier to sell food to somebody who hasn’t eaten for a while than it is to sell food to a person who has just finished a three course meal. That’s why they tell people who are on a tight budget to never go food shopping when you’re hungry. You’re always going to end up buying things that you really don’t need. Those are the people, as marketers, who we are after.
How do we find them? One way is to find them is to find out what they’re searching for. People who have problems and need solutions for those problems usually head right for the search engines. Well, we have keyword tools that tell us just what it is that these people are searching for. From these keywords we can then determine what products and services these people need. From there, we can either create them ourselves, outsource other people to create them for us, or find ready made products to present to these people.
Another way to find a hungry market is by going to discussion forums. There are forums all over the Internet for just about every niche you can think of. And the beauty of these forums is that you can go to any one of them and simply ask people what their problems are and what solutions they’re looking for. They’ll be more than happy to tell you. By simply compiling a list of problems for any particular niche, you should have no problems putting together a product that satisfies solving those problems, or finding an existing one that these people may not know about.
Another great way to find a hungry market is to go to Amazon and read some of the book descriptions that are there. The great thing about Amazon is that many of the books that they sell will allow you to see the table of contents as well as some of the actually content of the book. By doing this, you can get a very good idea of what people are looking for simply by looking up the best selling books in that particular niche.
These are just a few of the things that you can do in order to find a hungry market.
