At the Warrior Forum just today, a member asked if getting a business in a box was worth it. It’s certainly a valid question as a business in a box isn’t the same as creating your own business from scratch. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. The advantages of getting a business in a box are many. For starters, all the creation is done for you. The product is done, the sales page is done, the lead collection page is done, everything is done. The only thing you really have to do is promote your business once you’ve got it uploaded to the Internet. This is an incredible time saver. In most cases, we’re talking about weeks or even months in time saved. And ultimately, time is money.

However, there are disadvantages as well. With your own product, it’s your own. There is nothing else exactly like it on the Internet. With a business in a box, there are going to be other sites out there that are just like yours. So in that respect, your site is not unique and therefore, you actually have competition that you wouldn’t have with your own product. This is why it is a good idea, when purchasing a business in a box, to make some minor changes in the appearance so that you can stand out from the other sites.

Ultimately, is getting a business in a box worth it? The answer is yes, IF you are willing to spend the time that you’ll need to spend in order to promote it. Just like with anything else, even your own site from scratch, just putting it up on the Internet is not going to guarantee you any income. You need to advertise your site, just like you would if you were an affiliate marketer for somebody else’s product.
