A question that just got asked on the Warrior Forum was this one. “Is the make money online niche dead?” Well, I’m here to report that the niche is alive and well. But that’s not really the main point of me writing this article. This is a rant that has been a long time coming. If you’re thinking of getting into this niche as your main home business, you might want to hear what I have to say…or not.

Okay, here comes the rant. It absolutely boils my blood when I see people who don’t have a pot to spit in trying to sell these kind of products to others. I mean think about it. How logical is it? Let’s take this hypothetical conversation.

Marketer A: I can show you how to make $50,000 a year with my new book.

Marketer B: Is that how much you make?

Marketer A: No, but I’m sure these methods work because I learned them from John Doe Guru.

Okay, hold the phone. How can you possibly know for a fact that these methods work? Just because John Doe Guru says they do doesn’t mean that they do. Until you’ve actually used them and have made money with them, you have no business trying to show others how to make money online.

It wasn’t until I had been making money online for over three years before I finally created my first product online. I made my living as a freelancer and selling products in the health niche. I was therefore qualified to show people how to make an income online.

If this sounds elitist, so be it. But I am sick and tired of people who have absolutely no business selling money making products selling them.

Okay, so what’s the solution if you REALLY want to get into the “make money” niche for your home business? The solution is simple. Make some money first. Take stock of your skills and freelance a little. Then, if you want, write a book showing people how to make money freelancing. Take up affiliate marketing selling non make money products. Learn some advertising methods to promote these products. Then, if you’ve made some money doing it, write a book telling people how you did it.

I’d guess that 97% of the people out there selling make money products never made a dime in their lives.

As far as I’m concerned, that’s downright criminal.
