Home Business Tips – Read it in the Sunday Paper
Filed under: Home Business, Internet Marketing, Make Money Online; Tagged as: home base business, home based business tips, home business articles, starting a home businessNo CommentsSome people who want to start their own business have no idea what to do or where to start. This leads to a ton of frustration and many wasted hours trying out one scheme after another. It’s no wonder we have such a high failure rate in this industry. Well, if you’re having problems deciding on a business or thinking of chucking the model you currently have going because it’s sucking goose eggs, you might want to try looking in the Sunday paper for ideas. This article explains.
I don’t know about you, but my Sunday newspaper is less about news and more about ads and entertainment. I think I get more coupons than I get sports scores. And if I want to buy anything at all, there is probably a sale somewhere between page 1 and 101. There certainly isn’t a lot of news. But that’s too be expected since everything today is about the all mighty dollar. But for home business hopefuls, this is a good thing. So three cheers for the press.
Okay, but where exactly do you look for ideas? Well, for starters, take a look at all those ads. Many of those products, if you look real carefully, have websites attached to them. Many of them also have products that you can sell as an affiliate. And the beauty is, many people who don’t normally use the Internet, will see these ads and head straight for their computer. By establishing your own presence for some of these products, you can get a piece of the pie.
Another thing to look at is the front page. Okay, I realize that there is actually news on the front page, but don’t be fooled by it…there’s money it that too. If you head on over to Google, you’ll find something called Google Trends. These are usually hot topics in the news that range from entertainment to politics. If you think there is no money in those two areas, you need to get out of the house more. Building a business around current news events can be very profitable, especially when these events closely tie into a product.
Finally, you will want to look at the want ads. If companies are hiring for certain positions, there is a very good chance that some of these positions either tie into the Internet directly (such as web designer) or are positions that require training that people could get through the Internet. There is a very fine line between online and off line these days. In fact, a very profitable business model IS helping off line businesses establish an online presence.
Anyway, these are just a few ideas for browsing through the Sunday paper.
You never know which one will land you a business model that can produce a solid income for years to come.
To YOUR Success,
Steven Wagenheim
