Did you know that your personality has a color? It’s true. And some color personalities are better at some aspects of running a home business than others. Problem is, most people don’t know how to recognize their personality type. That’s when they run into trouble. While I can’t go over all the personality colors in this article, I am going to try to give you some guidance when it comes to figuring out what you’re best at and what you might need help with.

Let’s start with my favorite personality color…red. These are the folks who are the real take charge types. They need to be the boss, but they don’t necessarily like to do the work themselves. They have great ideas but prefer to delegate to others in order to have those ideas carried out. For you folks, I suggest that you outsource most of your home business tasks or you will go crazy trying to do everything yourself, especially when it comes to the mundane stuff.

Then of course you have the green types. These are the people who are real sticklers for detail. They can proofread a 300 word ebook down to each comma. These folks are great at actually doing the daily day to day stuff that the red folks don’t want to be bothered with. Problem is, they’re not so great with ideas. So for you green types, get a hold of somebody who has an idea and offer to put it into action. Trust me, they’ll be happy to split things 50-50 with you.

But when it comes to putting together a business that will withstand the most scrutiny as far as ethics and legalities, you can’t beat your gold types. These folks are as ethical as the day is long. If they even suspect that there might be something wrong with an aspect of the business, they won’t do it. Problem with gold types is that because of this hangup, they sometimes have trouble pulling the trigger at all and the business never gets off the ground. They can use both the red and the green types.

And there are others, yellow, orange, blue, and so on. Each personality type has its place. The key is recognizing which one YOU are and find somebody who compliments you by filling in the areas where you’re lacking. That way, you can really put together a home business that will be profitable and ethical at the same time.
