I knew that title would get your attention. Yeah, Internet marketers are dopes. Okay, before you rip me a new one…let me explain. The other day at the Warrior Forum, members were coming up with acronyms for Internet marketers. There were some pretty clever ones. Well, I thought I’d come up with my own. I am now going to explain each letter in detail.

D stands for Dedicated To Perfection. If you think I’m kidding, think again. There is a lot of competition out there today. More than ever in the Internet’s brief history. In order to make it today, you have to be one of the very best. No longer can you just slap together a web page and make oodles of money. Sure, you’re never going to become perfect. Nobody is. But the more we strive for perfection, the better chance we have of success.

O stands for Open To New Ideas. A closed mind is a dead mind. If you’re going to stick to old ways and never look to see if something comes around that’s better, you might miss out on a lot. For example. At one time, nobody thought of article marketing. Had I not been open to the concept, I would have missed out on a significant part of my income. Always look for new ways to reach your target market.

P stands for Prideful Of Their Work. There is nothing worse than an Internet marketer who doesn’t take pride in his work. What ultimately happens when a marketer is not prideful of his work is that the target market begins to catch on and they slowly stay away. That means everything you do, no matter how minute, must be done to the best of your ability.

E stands for Education. I can’t stress this enough. You are never going to succeed as an Internet marketer if you don’t know what you’re doing. I don’t care how you go about getting your education, whether it be from books, forums or a mentor. But make sure you know what you’re doing BEFORE you get out there and make a complete fool of yourself.

S stands for Serious. Yes, Internet marketers are serious about their marketing. They treat this like a business and NOT like a hobby. That doesn’t mean that you have to work 14 hour days like I used to. What it does mean is that every minute that you DO spend has to used to the fullest. That means not spending your time surfing on YouTube for your favorite Industrial videos.

There you have it. Successful Internet marketers are DOPES.
