A lot of marketers think that they have to go rent some fancy hotel to have a successful seminar. This is so far from the truth that it isn’t funny. One of my most successful seminars was actually run online. That’s right, on the Internet. Want to know how and want your webinar to run like clockwork? This article will give you three tips for putting on a killer webinar that is sure to provide you with a profitable evening.

First tip is to promote it actively. Make every effort to get the word out about it. My suggestion is to put on a sale of one of your products and as a bonus, offer the free webinar. This is what I did and the number of people I had attend were just off the charts. The key, however, is that you have to have a webinar that is going to be worth going to. That is where the next tip comes in.

You want to prepare everything beforehand. To do this, have the people who are going to come to the webinar sign up beforehand. This way you know how many people are going to come. Then, send them an email asking them what they’d like to have discussed. Then, choose the top three or four topics and go over them in as much detail as you can. Really give them something that they can sink their teeth into.

Finally, you want to make sure the webinar is well organized. This means starting on time to begin with. If you tell everybody that the starting time is 8 PM, then make darn sure that you’re there at 8 PM. Do NOT be late. It won’t go down well with those in attendance. Also, make sure that you have all your notes in front of you. If you use a conference room with hands free function, you’ll be able to do other things while you’re speaking. Oh yes, make sure you have a great headset.

Naturally, at the end of your webinar you’re going to make your sales pitch. Make it an offer that is going to be impossible for people to turn down. Make sure that the offer is only good for that evening. You’ll find that quite a few will take advantage of it IF it’s a good one.

Do all these things and you’ll be running a webinar that will be successful and profitable.
