Internet Marketing Tips - Give Your List a Gift For the Holiday

Marketers just don’t know how to treat their lists. These people are the life blood of your business. You be good to them and they’ll be good to you. But some folks just don’t get this. For them, it’s all about sell, sell, sell and nothing about giving value. Well, with so many holidays coming up this is the perfect time to give your list a gift. This article is going to give you some suggestions.

Here’s one suggestion for giving your list a gift. How about a coupon good for 50% off your next product, or any of your products for that matter? Lists love sales and they also love to think that they’re getting special treatment. By sending them a gift certificate that nobody else gets, you make them feel special.

How about sending them a coupon to get your next ebook for free? Now that’s what I really call a gift. Imagine knowing that your next blockbuster can be had for free. If this doesn’t get your list excited nothing will. And, make sure you let them know that this also includes the bonuses that you’re going to be giving away with the book itself. Yes, give them the whole nine yards.

Another great gift is a free month to your latest membership site. Now, the reason this is so good for you is that if they really like the membership, they’re going to be more than likely to want to continue as a member and thus become a paying member. Actually, this is one of the best ways to get members. If people can try it out for free and find it worth while, it’s tough living without something that you’re used to having.

Of course you could really go all out, send your list an email asking them what product they’d like to see come out and then create it and hand out free copies to everybody. If that doesn’t get them all excited, nothing will. Naturally, inside all your free giveaways will be upsells, upgrades and other offers. If the product itself is solid, you should make plenty of sales on the backend.

Yes, treat your list right and they’ll treat you right in return.
