Internet Marketing Tips – Guru Bashing Can Kill You

I absolutely marvel at the mind set of some people. It makes me wonder if they use their heads for more than just a place to put their hats. In this particular article, I’m going to address the subject of guru bashing and how it can kill your business faster than you can possibly imagine. Think I’m kidding? Well, keep reading and you’ll find out exactly what can and probably will happen to you if you take up the practice of guru bashing. It’s not a pretty picture.

First of all, let me get one thing straight. These so called gurus did not proclaim themselves gurus. Nobody got up on a table top and screamed to the world, “I’m a guru!” We did this all on our own. We decided that just because somebody is successful, that means they’re a guru. I hope I never get called a guru, though some people have been tempted. That’s when I had to send out my buddy Vito to their homes. But I digress.

Gurus, or successful people, got to be where they are because of very hard work. Make no mistake about it. Nobody was born a guru. Some even came online from an offline world where they were also in sales. This certainly did help, as in the case of Mike Filsaime. And while I know it’s tempting to take shots at these people because they’re successful and you’re not, here’s the biggest reason why you shouldn’t do it.

It is a well known fact among successful people that the easiest way to become very successful is to associate with other successful people, or gurus if that’s what you want to call them. I have personally known marketers who have gone from four figures to five figures a month simply because they hooked up with a well known marketer. Well, guess what? If you go around bashing these people, word is going to get out. Eventually, your name will become synonymous with guru bashing and none of these people are going to want to have anything to do with you. Think that’s not going to hurt your business in the long run down the road? Trust me, it will.

So before you get on your campaign of socking it to every guru, or successful marketer, who walks the face of the earth, remember one thing…you just may be biting off the hand that feeds you and preventing any chance of turning your so-so business into a real powerhouse. Do yourself a favor. Don’t guru bash.

You may just want one as a friend someday.

    To YOUR Success,
