Internet Marketing Tips – Handling The Five Objections Customers Have

As an Internet marketer, the main problem that you will run into when trying to sell somebody something is their objections to buying your product, or reasons why they shouldn’t. There are five main ones. I will cover them in this article.

The first objection is that they don’t have enough time to use your product or service. Okay, so what you have to do is show them that it takes no time at all and in the long run will actually save them time. You have to let them see for themselves. If this means giving them a trial, then do it. If it’s software, certainly you can disable it after the trial period is over. After they see how much time it saves them, they’ll gladly purchase after the trial period.

The second objection is that they don’t have enough money or can’t afford it. This is where you have to show them that not using your product or service will actually cost them money. Show them what the costs actually are when using a different product or not using any product at all. Sometimes the cost is in time. Show them how many lost hours of productivity will occur if they don’t get your product or service. This ultimately translates into dollars.

The third objection is that it can’t work for them. This is where you show them testimonials of people who are using your product or service. Let them tell the prospect how easy it was to use and how it worked so well. Testimonials can sometimes sell your product better than anything else.

The fourth objection is that they don’t believe you. This is a tough one to overcome. In most cases, they don’t know you from Adam. This is where credibility comes in. To establish credibility, show them how the product has helped you. You may need to show income proof or before and after photos or whatever. Testimonials will also help in this area. They may not believe you but they might believe others who have used your product and have had success with it.

The fifth objection is that they don’t need it. This is where you have to show them that they do need it. You know your product better than anyone. Show them the benefits of having your product. Show them what they’ll be missing out on if they don’t get it. This is where you really have to sell it.

If you can overcome these five objections, you have a very good chance of making the sale.
