Forums can save your marketing. That is no lie. I could write a book on how important forums are and how building relationships in them can save your marketing and your business, but in this article, I’ll just touch on a few things. I’m sure you’ll see the benefit of participating at forums once you’re done reading this.

Let’s go over some real examples. Marketer A has a problem with his blog. For some reason it is totally messed up. Nothing is displaying the way it should. He doesn’t have any idea why and doesn’t know what to do. In the meantime, he’s losing tons of AdSense income because of this. So what does he do? He goes to his favorite forum, tells his problem, and a member, who just happens to be a blog expert, offers to look at his blog…no charge. He does this and fixes the problem. Marketer A is back in business.

Here’s another real life example. Marketer B has a problem with a sales page. It’s just not converting the way he would like. Heck, it’s not converting at all. So he goes to a forum and asks the members to take a look at the sales page and make some suggestions. Quite a few top copywriters actually look at the copy and make some excellent suggestions for changing it. Marketer B makes the changes and after a few days, his conversion percentage has increased significantly. Marketer B now has a good sales page.

One final example. Marketer C needs an ecover for his new product. He tried to make one for himself but he’s just not that good at it. So he goes to a forum and asks for references for good graphic designers. Well, one forum member, somebody just starting out, offers to do a cover for nothing. Marketer C figures he has nothing to lose and takes him up on his offer. Well, the ecover is fantastic and Marketer C puts it up on his sales page. The ecover seems to be increasing conversions.

These are just a few of the many examples of how forums can literally save your marketing and your business.
