This may be one of the strangest articles you’ve ever read by me. The title certainly must have you scratching your head just a bit. How can you get anywhere by failing? Well, the truth is, unless you ARE failing, you can’t get anywhere at all. If you’re confused, don’t worry…you won’t be for long. Keep reading and it will all make perfect sense.

Let’s be honest…none of us were born with any knowledge of Internet marketing. I certainly wasn’t. We all had to learn as we went along. Some learn quicker than others, but it’s still a learning process for everybody. It took me months to start making even a part time income seven plus years ago. Maybe you have better results when you first started.

Point is, I made many mistakes when I first started and had many failures…too many to even count. But each failure brought me closer and closer to my ultimate goal of making a full time living as an Internet marketer. Eventually my income rose and my mistakes became fewer and fewer, though I certainly made my share. I realized after a while that I was leaving money on the table by not building a list…something I should have done from day one. So while I was making money making sales, I was losing money on possible followup sales. Not smart at all.

Today, I’m not failing anymore. Everything I do produces the results that I expect. And that’s bad. Huh, you say? Yes, bad. Why? Because I’m not getting anywhere anymore. My income, nice as it is, is status quo. Each month it’s the same with very little deviation. The reason is because I’m not taking chances. I’m not exploring new things and new avenues. I’m, as they say, playing it safe. Well, if you’re playing it safe and stagnating, no matter how successful you are, you’re getting nowhere. The only way to grow is to take chances and risk failure.

I am sure the above revelation may come as a surprise to some people. But I had to make it in order to make my point. If you’re not failing, you’re getting nowhere. You’re in the same place that you were because you’re not growing. All growth has some failure attached to it unless you have some kind of crystal ball.

So get out there and start failing and failing BIG. It’s the only way you’re going to reach your dreams.
