    Internet Marketing Tips – Insert Flap A Into Slot B

    Do you know what amazes me? What amazes me is how many people complicate Internet marketing. You would think that you’d need a college degree to do this stuff. Let me tell you something. I have a college degree and it didn’t help me one bit when I turned to the Internet. My problem was overthinking things. Truth is, Internet marketing is as simple as inserting flap A into slot B. If you’re confused, you won’t be after you’re finished reading this article.

    Okay, I guess the first thing I need to do is explain what flap A is and what slot B is. Flap A is your prospect. This is the person who is in need of a solution to a problem that they have. This problem could be anything from acne to how to feed a zebra with a cold. Think about all the problems that there are in the world where the solutions aren’t readily known except maybe to a few. Then think about all the people who have those problems. Think there isn’t a market there? So there is our flap A…the person with the problem.

    Now we have our slot B. Slot B is the actual solution to that problem. Each problem is going to have a different kind of solution. For that matter each problem may have multiple solutions. For example, let’s take acne. One solution for acne is to put cream on your face. Now, for people who don’t mind taking some kind of drug, this is a great solution. But what about people who don’t want to put drugs on their skin? Well, for them, there is another solution. There are natural treatments for acne such as colon cleanses. Yes, they actually DO clean you out from the inside, which is where most acne problems start.

    Point is, Internet marketing is simply finding a person who has a problem and then matching that person up to the solution that is best for them. For the crowd looking for a drug, you could promote an acne cream. How would you know who they are? They’re the ones who are looking up things like “acne cream for sale” and similar keyword phrases. For the people who are looking for a natural solution, they’ll be looking up phrases like “natural acne treatment.”

    You simply have to decide which market you’re going to target and then set up your campaign accordingly. Naturally, you first have to find a product that fits that market. Problem with many marketers is that they don’t understand this one basic concept and end up targeting everybody and their grandmother. The shotgun approach doesn’t work. You have to zero in on who you want to reach and construct your campaign around that target market.

    So as you can see, Internet marketing is as simple as inserting flap A into slot B.

    That’s assuming you can tell your flaps from your slots.
