    Internet Marketing Tips – N Is For Niche Research

    Niche research…without it I’d be marketing in a cloud. Heck, forget the cloud. I’d be marketing in a black hole. Look, I know that niche research is time consuming, but without doing it, you are almost dooming yourself to certain failure. In this article, the newest installment in my Internet marketing A-Z series, I’m going to explain why niche research is so important and then show you where you can pick up a free report that shows just how to do it.

    Niche research is important for many reasons, but the most important is to find out if the product or service that YOU want to promote has any demand for it at all. Imagine creating something and then finding out AFTER the fact that nobody wants it. Wouldn’t that turn out to be just a total waste of time for you? I know I’d hate to go through that whole process only to find out that nobody wanted what I had to offer.

    But that’s not the only reason niche research is important. Another reason, aside from finding out if what yuo have to sell has any demand at all, is to find out just what it is that a prospect is looking for IN that product or service. Sure, you may know that people want autoresponder services, assuming that’s what you’ve created. However, do you know what features they want? What if you created an autoresponder service that left out one of the most sought after features that most other services have? Think you’ll get many customers?

    Niche research is also important to find out what the competition is doing. If you don’t know what’s already out there, how can you possibly know what to create? Maybe by looking at existing products you can come up with ideas that you might not have thought of on your own. I know that I have personally gotten ideas for many of my products just from looking at what’s already on the market and selling. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Just make a better wheel.
