Internet Marketing Tips – Passion, Pride and Prejudice

Without a doubt, passion pride and prejudice are three of the most influential things when it comes to our marketing. Some are good, some are bad. This article is going to take a look at all three of these and explain why they’re important, either to do or to avoid.

Passion is the feeling that we have for our business. I don’t care what anybody else says. If you have no passion for your business, you will not be good at it. The reason is simple. Running your own business and marketing it is hard work…very hard work. If you have no passion for what you’re doing, you’re going to avoid doing that work. At first, you’ll cut down your hours. As time goes on, you’ll stop doing things altogether. I am speaking from experience. There are many things I have tried to do in my life that I stopped doing because I just didn’t have the passion for it.

Pride is critical when it comes to your products and services. If you have no pride in what you’re doing, it’s going to show. I can’t tell you how many products I’ve seen pawned off that should have never seen the light of day. It was painfully obvious that the person who created it had no pride in what he was doing whatsoever. And when the word gets out that your products are thrown together, people are going to stop buying them and you’re going to end up out of business. I have always had great pride in everything I have ever put out. I hope it shows.

Prejudice is the killer. This is when you look at a form or promotion and make up your mind about that method before you even try it. You conjure up preconceived notions and dismiss the method based on them. What this does is limits you as to what you can accomplish with your marketing. Sure, some things won’t work, but don’t rule them out before you try them. I always give every method a fair shot. If it doesn’t work, I simply don’t use it anymore. Don’t let prejudice ruin your business.

Passion, pride and prejudice. It’s important to know what’s good and what’s bad when it comes to marketing your products and services.

Hopefully, these three are crystal clear.
