Do you know what’s wonderful about Internet marketing? There are so many ways to go about it. I could list a half a dozen business models off the top of my head (don’t worry, I won’t) that are more than viable for earning a decent income. And yet, what I find it comes down to for so many marketers is this. They want the fame that goes along with the monetary rewards. Worse than that, they feel that the two things go hand in hand. Well, I’m here to tell you that this isn’t the case.

Now, I’ll be the first to admit that I went the celebrity route. I branded myself rather than a niche or product. In a sense…I became the product. And that’s fine. But I’m here to tell you that it’s not the only way to go about things.

Here is what I want you to do. I want you to go to Google and look up some common problems like debt relief, health, pet training, gambling and so on. Take a look at some of the top sites. What do you see? Well, I’ll tell you what you DON’T see. What you don’t see is somebody’s name. You might see the name of some company, but a person’s name..not likely. Or, if you do, there is another scenario.

Many marketers, who I know personally, are into multiple niches. They may be into health, debt relief, pets, music and an assortment of other things. In each one, they use a pen name. I may or may not do the same, but I’m not going to kiss and tell. Point is, these people are NOT looking for name recognition in these niches. They’re perfectly content to think that the person behind the curtain is somebody else. Their motivation is money…not fame. Maybe you even know a few of these people.

So, as you can see, you don’t have to make a “name” for yourself to be successful in this business. Heck, you can send people to some anonymous blog with some Adsense and Amazon links and make a killing and nobody has to have a clue who’s behind the operation. Or, you can become the next Frank Kern or John Reese and let the whole world know who you are.

But you do have a choice. It can about the recognition or the money or both if that’s what you want.

Just understand that you DO have a choice.
