Did you ever think of doing interviews? Did you ever think of interviewing somebody else? You can’t even begin to understand the power of these things until you’ve actually done them. As somebody who has done quite a few interviews this year, I can honestly say that they greatly help your business. In this article, I’m going to explain why interviews are so powerful.

The first reason, and maybe the most important one, is that interviews give you massive exposure, especially if you’re being interviewed by somebody who is a really big name. I remember when I was interviewed by Willie Crawford for the first time. The exposure dramatically increased my business. Some of it directly, such as through increased sales and some of it indirectly, such as through people telling me they heard me, opting into my list because of it and thus becoming potential customers in the future.

In addition to this, interviews give you confidence. Now I know, this is something you should probably have already, but let’s face it, we all have our little doubts, especially when things aren’t going so well. A good interview will do wonders for boosting your confidence. I mean, as good as I was doing before Willie interviewed me, afterwards, I was on top of the world. I felt that I could do no wrong. So even in my case, the interview was a big lift for me.

And of course doing interviews just makes you better at them. The more you do, the more you begin to feel comfortable doing them. This has the snowball effect of making others aware of your confidence. Now, don’t get too cocky because that’s something that can turn people off. But confidence is a great thing to have in this business. Eventually, as people see how well you interview, you’re going to be asked to do a lot of these. The more you do, the more exposure you’ll get.

Interviewing others is also great for your career. Imagine being known as somebody who can interview the big names? This will serve to get your name up in lights as well. So don’t discount interviewing others if you can pull it off.

Until you’ve actually done them, you really can’t understand how powerful interviews are.
