It's like the world is coming to an end because they can't get some big name guru to sell a product with them. Well, part of the problem is that most marketers go about doing this the wrong way. The best way I can put it is this...there is no "I" in team. See, a JV is a partnership, or a team. And on a team, each person has to think of the team...not the individual, lidocaine reaction. Too many marketers go into a JV with the attitude "What's in it for me?" They give absolutely no thought to what they can bring TO the partnership but only what they can get OUT of the partnership.
