Internet Marketing Tips – There is Strength in Numbers
Filed under: Home Business, Internet Marketing, Make Money Online; Tagged as: internet marketing strategies, internet marketing strategy, strategic internet marketingNo CommentsMy mom used to tell me that no man is an island. If you’re an Internet marketer, there is no reason why you have to go it alone. I’m not just talking about joint ventures, though that is a big part of it. I’m talking about anything having to do with your business. In this article, I’m going to cover a few things that will certainly go a lot smoother if you have a helping hand.
Let’s start with the joint venture, since that’s the most common thing that most Internet marketers try to get a hold of. The problem is, most Internet marketers go about doing this the wrong way. They contact the potential JV partner with a sales pitch right off the bat. Instead, what they should be doing is trying to get to know the person…even going as far as offering their services with no strings attached. You will find that this approach goes a long way to securing that JV you’ve been after.
Next, there’s the actual process of getting your own work done. I’m talking about things like sales pages, squeeze pages, graphics, email followups and even articles. Why do it all yourself, especially if you aren’t any good at some of it? Not everybody can write. Not everybody can create graphics. It’s foolish to put our shoddy work when a pro can end up saving you more money in the long run because of increased sales. That goes back to another saying my mom had, penny wise and pound foolish.
Finally, there is getting the word out about things that can be beneficial to all Internet marketers. Even though we are in competition with each other, there are certain things floating around the Internet that affect us all. These are things that, if we teamed up for a common cause, we could put to bed permanently, thus preventing any harm that the thing itself could cause. How do we do this? Many ways. One such way is writing about a particular problem, Digging it, and then rallying the community through the means of forums and other avenues to Digg your story. This can be very effective for many causes.
Point is, we don’t have to do everything ourselves. With the right approach and a coordinated effort, most problems that would take one person forever to solve, could be solved in a fraction of the time by recruiting the help of others.
It’s something to think about the next time you try to slay the giant all by yourself.
