Internet Marketing Tips – What Do I Do With My Keywords?
Filed under: Home Business, Internet Marketing, Make Money Online; Tagged as: internet marketing strategies, internet marketing strategy, strategic internet marketingNo CommentsA fellow member of the Warrior Forum made a post saying that he had done some keyword research, just like he was told to do, but now that he’s done it, he doesn’t know what to do with these keywords. So, in an effort to help him, and others who may not know what to do with the keywords they’ve researched, I’ve decided to write this article. I hope you find it helpful.
Probably the easiest thing to do with the keywords you’ve researched, and the cheapest, is to write articles around these keywords. For example, let’s say you’ve researched the keyword phrase “natural acne treatment.” You could write an article with that title, include the keyword in your list of keyword phrases, and ultimately have the article direct people to a site you own that sells a natural acne treatment. This is one thing you could do with the keywords you’ve researched.
Another thing you could do is use them for a pay per click advertising campaign. Let’s take the same example. You’ve researched “natural acne treatment.” Okay, what you would do is use that phrase, along with any other related phrases to your product, and place it in your pay per click campaign. That way, anybody looking up that keyword phrase online would see YOUR pay per click ad on the right hand side of the search engine results. If the ad itself is compelling enough, this will get the prospect to click through the ad and wind up at your sales page.
Then of course, you could simply use these keywords for SEO purposes on your web page. The way search engines index pages has to do with what keywords people look up online and how YOUR page relates to those keywords. So, if you had a page that had some information on natural acne treatments and you used that keyword several times on the page, as long as it was relevant and wasn’t stuffed (excessive use of the keyword) you could find yourself with a relatively high ranked page depending on how much competition there was for that phrase.
These are just a few of the many things you could do with the keywords you researched.
To YOUR Success,
Steven Wagenheim
