I see this question asked a lot. What marketing method will bring the cash in the fastest? Since the person asking is obviously selling something (thus the use of the word marketing) then we are not talking about various ways TO make money online, such as freelancing, telecommuting and so on. We are talking about what advertising method will bring in the cash faster than any other. Well, the answer is very obvious if you think about it. It’s the method that gets your ad in front of your target market the quickest.

Okay, to some of you, that may seem like a copout of an answer. But it’s not…not really. See, every market, or every niche, is different. How you will reach people will be different depending on the market itself. For example, let’s say you had a product that complimented Twitter, a social networking site. Don’t you think the best place to go to market that product would be Twitter itself? Same as if you had a product for Facebook or any other site where you build a following. The best place to go is to the site. You can do this either through building a following there yourself OR by taking out an ad at the site itself. Many sites will allow you to do this. In these cases, THESE are your best advertising options.

What if you’re in the health niche? Well, that’s something a little different. Most health sites, like WebMD don’t take on advertising because they have to be very careful about what they promote. They have a reputation to uphold. So in these cases, going to any authority site is probably not an option. So what would be the best and fastest way to reach people looking for solutions to various health problems? Well, most people online look for their solutions through search engines. And there is no faster way to get immediate traffic to your offer than through PPC advertising. Sure, you could try to get a good generic ranking for your site, but that takes time. In this case, PPC is best. Or, you could just flat out buy traffic for your site IF you know a reliable source. That can be a problem.

My point is, there isn’t just one BEST way to get traffic to your site the fastest so as to make the most money the quickest. The method you use is going to depend on who it is you’re looking to target.
