Okay, get your mind out of the gutter. I know what you’re thinking. Well, you’re wrong. I’m talking about my bank account. I’m also talking about my sites and everything else to do with my business. There’s a reason that they’re all bigger than yours. But don’t fret, because after reading this article, you’re going to know how to get yours to be just as big as mine.

Let’s start with your business plan. Do you even have one or are you just selling stuff? Do you have a funnel system? Do you have a lead in product? Do you have several upsells? Maybe you have a product line? Look, there are many types of business plans including membership sites or even freelancing models. The key to success and a big bank account is having something in place that is solid. Just hopping around and finding odds and ends to sell is NOT a business plan and it’s NOT going to get you anywhere.

What about your actual marketing? Are you penny wise and pound foolish? Do you avoid certain types of advertising because they’re too expensive? I have a news flash for you. Sometimes you have to spend money to make money. Now, having said that, there are marketing methods that don’t require a lot of money. Article marketing is a perfect example. Problem is, you need to know how to write. Have you taken the time to strengthen your writing skills? You’re going to need them for more than just writing articles.

And that brings us to customer service. Do you even have any? When prospects or customers write to you, do you reply or do you just blow them off because you can’t be bothered? I can’t tell you how many people write to me just to tell me that they can’t believe how quickly I got back to them. Is it so rare these days to actually receive an email from a customer service request? Must be because most people are in shock when I reply to them within 24 hours.

What about your organization skills? Do you make a daily schedule? Do you stick to it? When something ha to get done, do you do it? I make a schedule every night before bed of all the marketing and product creation that I have to do the next day. When the next day comes, I check off each item as I do it. Can you say the same?

And the above only scratches the surface. Point is, the above, and many other items I haven’t even touched on, are the reasons why mine is bigger than yours.
