Making Money Online – The Real Truth – The 4 Big Lies

This article is going to be the first in a series of articles about making money online. It’s about time that somebody blew the lid off of all the lies that have been floating around the Internet because the misinformation that is being fed to you is killing any chance you have to start a business that has any chance of being successful. In this installment, I’m going to cover the four big lies of making money online.

Big lie number 1…Its’ easy. Guess what? It’s NOT easy. Making money online is probably one of the hardest things you’ll do. The reason it’s hard is because for most people, it’s something that they’ve never done before. They’ve never run their own business. They have no idea where to start and as a result, they’re going to make a lot of mistakes along the way. No, it is NOT easy.

Big lie number 2…It’s quick. Guess what? It’s NOT quick. Making money online takes time, a lot of time. In the real world businesses can go a year or two or more without seeing a profit, so I don’t know what it is that makes people think that they can make money on the Internet quickly. You can do it quicker that with a brick and mortar business because you don’t have the overhead, but it is anything but quick.

Big lie number 3…It can be done with NO skills or knowledge. Guess what? It CAN’T. I don’t know anybody who is making a good living on the Internet who doesn’t have a good head on his shoulder. No offense, but if you’re using your head for nothing but a hat rack, you’re going to have problems being successful. It does take some smarts and some skills. You can learn skills and you can educate yourself. It just won’t happen overnight. Yes, you MUST know what you’re doing.

Big lie number 4…It can be done without a plan. Guess what? It CAN’T. You can’t just put up some site, plaster a few ads around the Internet and call that a business. It doesn’t work that way. Everything must be planned out in advance. You have to sit down and decide what kind of a business you want to run, how much you want to spend, how much you want to earn, how many hours you plan to work and so on. Tons of planning are required if you’re going to be successful.

Ignoring any of the above big lies will land you into a heap of trouble.

    To YOUR Success,
