A question I get asked a lot is this. “What are the advantages of getting a business in a box? If many people get the same one, aren’t we all just competing with each other?” It’s a very good question. Actually, those are two very good questions. Well, in this article, I’m going to do my best to answer both of them. Hopefully, this will help you decide if a business in a box is the right solution for you.

Let’s take the advantages first. The biggest advantage, and the one that makes getting a business in a box so attractive, is that almost all the work has been done for you. The product has been made, the sales page, the squeeze pages, the autoresponder series, the articles, everything has been made. All that’s left to do is upload the business to your server.

But what does this REALLY mean? What it really means is countless weeks of work that has already been done for you, and that is provided that you even had the skill to do it yourself. And then of course there is the expense. Do you have any idea how much it costs to have a sales page done for you? It can cost anywhere from $2,500 to $15,000, depending on who you get to do it for you. When you take expenses into account, getting a business in a box solution for $70 or so is a very attractive solution at that.

Okay, but what about the competition? After all, this same business in a box is probably going to be owned by quite a few people. Won’t all these same businesses out there make them less effective than if you had your own custom made business from scratch? Here is the honest answer to that question.

There is no question that having a custom made business is the best solution because it is unique. However, if you look at the affiliate marketing model itself, where a person sells an affiliate product that many other people are also selling, there are many affiliates who make 6 or even 7 figure incomes from this model. So obviously selling something that other people are selling can be quite profitable.

Plus, there is recognition. When somebody sees the same business over and over, it reinforces in them that this must be a viable product. Look at the success of Plug In Profits.

Finally, there is this one sad but true fact. Most people who buy these business in a box solutions, don’t do anything with them. Only about 5% of them do anything at all. So the competition is very small. That’s just the way this business is.

So, is a business in box solution the right one for YOU? Only you can answer that. But I can assure you, many people make a nice living online by using one.
