We’ve all read about the death of this and that and every other little thing when it comes to making money online. Seems to me that just about everything is dead. Amazing how most of those things still bring amazing results when applied properly. Well, in this article, I don’t want to talk about any more deaths. Instead, I want to talk about the rebirth of Internet marketing. Why do I say rebirth? Keep reading and you’ll find out.

Over the years, Internet marketing has gone through a lot of changes. Technology alone has given us methods of bringing our message to the masses that we could only dream about at one time. Video marketing is right up there at the top of my list. Years ago, few people could even view a video online. Today, most people have high speed connections and are able to watch whole movies online if they want.

So yeah, we have more ways to bring our message to our prospects. But that’s not the point of this article. The point is less to do with the technical aspects of marketing and more to do with what’s going on between those two ears of yours.

See, many marketers are still stuck in the stone age…mindset wise. They question the new ways. After all, if static web sites were good enough for them in 1997, why do they need blogs and videos and social networking sites now? Can’t they just do what they’ve been doing?

Well, they could. But the cold hard truth of the matter is this. There is a market out there that exists on platforms that the old school marketer isn’t going to reach if they stick to their static HTML site, link exchanges, banner exchanges, and whatever else they were doing 13 years ago. How much of that market they reach will depend on how much they’re willing to change their old mindset.

THAT…is the rebirth I’m talking about. I’m talking about getting rid of all your old preconceptions of what you THINK is supposed to be and start looking around you. There is a world out there that is constantly changing. My own Twitter account has over 6,000 followers. These are 6,000 people who I probably wouldn’t have reached when I first started in 2003.

Open your mind to the possibilities of 2010 and experience the rebirth of Internet marketing in your OWN life.

You just might find that your income will greatly increase from the change in mindset.
