Video Marketing Tips – Learn From the Pros
No CommentsKnow what puzzles me? I get so many people email me and ask me how to do so many things that could easily be learned just by observing what the successful marketers are doing. This includes everything from writing a sales page to creating an autoresponder series. Just look at what’s out there and you can learn a ton. Well, the same thing is true for learning how to create a killer video to market your products. Everything from what equipment to use to how to actually script and create your video is out there…free. All you have to do is look for it. This article will show you how.
Let’s start with what equipment to use. For that, you can’t find a better person than Josh Anderson. Just look up Optimizeyourvideo and you’ll find Josh’s web site. This guy knows everything about audio and video that you could possibly want to know. I’m sure he has a blog out there with some killer tips too. Or go to the Warrior Forum and look up some of his posts. The guy is a whiz. After spending just a little bit of time reading his stuff, you’ll have a solid handle on the best equipment to get in order to create your videos.
As for actually creating your videos, and what they should look like, just watch some of the videos that the big names are making. A great person to emulate is Kevin Riley. He uses a simple two camera technique for making his videos that makes talking head videos really come to life so that they’re not so boring. And of course if you want to get into outrageous and funny, watch guys like Jason Moffatt and Frank Kern. They are so off the wall that you can’t help love their stuff. Want real serious? Watch Mike Filsaime or John Reese. There is a style out there for everybody and some big name using that style.
Of course, you want to be yourself. People will see through you if you’re not yourself. You’ll come off as forced and unnatural and ultimately, you won’t make any sales in the process. A lot of people think John Reese is stiff and boring, but trust me…he has an audience that relates to him because he is extremely professional…even if he never smiles. So don’t think you have to be like somebody else. You don’t.
If you follow the above tips, you’ll find that you’re making videos that look good and keep prospects interested in what you have to say.
To YOUR Success,
