Okay listen up. I am personally sick and tired of hearing people complain about not being able to make money online. So as an experiment, I pretended that I had no money, no list, no web site, no NOTHING and gave myself 6 days to make something online…anything. In this article, while I can’t go into too much detail, I am going to essentially show you how I pulled it off.

First thing I did was decide I was going to promote an affiliate product. So I went to the Clickbank marketplace and looked to see what was new. I didn’t see anything I particularly liked. So the next thing I did was look through all the junk email I got. One person was promoting a product that actually sounded good to me. So I did some research.

I went to search engines…went to forums…asked around…even emailed the product creator and then got all the info I could. After doing this, I decided I was going to promote the product and write up a short review on it based on the information I received and my own evaluation of the product. I was totally honest in my review, even pointing out things about the product that I didn’t like.

I then went through a list of all free advertising avenues that I could use online, such as classifieds, message boards, forums, article directories and so on. I wrote up, not ads, but reviews of the product and posted these reviews, where appropriate with links going, not to the product, but to a page I put together to get even MORE information.

All in all, I spent about 10 hours between writing and posting and also getting some free web hosting, because again, I wanted to do this and prove that I could do it without spending any money. Yes, it made it a lot harder. But the end result was beyond dispute. Putting all these restrictions on myself, I was able to generate $475 in profit in 6 days. Now, given that I normally make about $300 plus a day normally, this was no big deal. However, it does go to show that even on a budget of zero dollars, you CAN earn a living online, albeit not a good one.

How was I able to do this?

There were several keys and I will explain what each of them were so you will understand what skills you will need to develop.

Key 1 – I can write. I’ve been writing for over 30 years. The ability to communicate with your audience is critical to having success. You will notice that I am not a fancy writer. However, I get the point across clearly and accurately.

Key 2 – I took the time needed, over the years I’ve been marketing online, to find out what the best advertising methods are. I have discovered many free methods that work very well so that you don’t have to spend a lot of money in promotion.

Key 3 – I had enough business training to know how to put all of this together in a coordinated effort so that I could be reasonably sure that my efforts would produce results. In other words, I didn’t guess. I didn’t hope. I had a very good idea that if I did X, Y and Z, that I was going to produce decent results.
