What Vince doesn’t know is that I’ve got a few surprises up my sleeve as well. So if you want to hear a radio show that you won’t soon forget, tune in tonight. And if you miss it, don’t worry, it will be taped and you’ll be able to listen at your convenience.
I plan on discussing some of the things about this business that many people are not aware of. Trust me, not all is as it seems. I won’t say more than that now. You’ll just have to tune in to find out.
So until tonight (that’s 7:30 PM EST January 10, 2010) you have yourself a great day.

Home Business Tips – 3 Things to Avoid Like the Plague
Filed under: Home Business, Internet Marketing, Make Money Online; Tagged as: home base business, home based business tips, home business tips, tips on starting a home businessNo CommentsEverybody has their home business tips. I’ve read more of them than Carter has liver pills. And yet, very few people warn you about the things you shouldn’t do. Sadly, I discovered that you can do 100 things right but if you do just one thing wrong, you can undo all the good that you did. Well, in this article, I’m going to share with your three things that you need to avoid like the plague when it comes to running your home business. If you simply avoid these three things, you’ll give yourself a pretty good chance at success with your business.
At the top of my “not to do” list is getting involved in programs and opportunities that promise you the moon. You know what I’m talking about. You see these sales pages everyday. “Make $30,000 In 30 Days With Our Proven System.” Let me tell you something. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, can promise you any kind of income on the Internet. I don’t care how great their system is. Making money online is hard work. You can go weeks or even months without making a dime. My first five months of this earned me all of $28, so I know what I’m talking about. I tried every get rich quick scheme in the book. They don’t work. So avoid them.
Next on the list is spam. I know you read about all these people who make millions of dollars a year spamming. Let me tell you something. It’s not worth it. You can go to jail for spamming. As a matter of fact, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve already seen this happen and what it can do to people’s lives. The so called Spam King just took his life and the lives of his wife and kid because he didn’t want to go to jail for his crimes. Yes, spamming is a crime and if you’re caught, you’ll go to jail. It’s that simple. So as tempted as you might be, don’t do it.
Finally, you’ll be tempted to try to get your family into your “business”. Let me tell you something. This tactic has destroyed more families than I can shake a stick at. The reason is simple. Your family member trusts you and they expect you to make them a lot of money. When this doesn’t happen, and in most cases it doesn’t, the resentment is enough to literally tear families apart. So as tempted as you might be to try to bring your family into your business, don’t do it.
If you avoid these three things, you’ll give yourself a much better chance of starting and running a successful home based business.

Home Business Tips – Are You All Tipped Out?
Filed under: Home Business, Internet Marketing, Make Money Online; Tagged as: home business tips, Internet Marketing tips, Make Money OnlineNo CommentsI admit it. As much as I try to help home business owners, I may be doing them a disservice at times. Why? Well, if you read through my many articles on this subject, you’ll find that I’ve shared quite a few tips on running an Internet business. The problem is, there is only so much information that one person can cram into their head. After a while, you get all tipped out. It’s also known as information overload. Perhaps you’re there right now. Well, if you are, this article is going to give you some great tips on how to weed through all that info and make the most of it. Yeah, more tips. Isn’t it kind of ironic?
Okay, the first thing you have to do is organize all your information into categories. For example, you may have tips on doing just that, organizing your business. You may have tips on how to advertise, create products and so on. Make sure that each topic is in its own folder. This way, you can easily find something if you need it. Now, if you haven’t done this at all, it’s going to take some time, especially if you’ve been at this for a while. But eventually, you’ll get everything in order and adding new info will be a snap.
Next on the list is to do just that…make a list. This list is going to consist of the things that you want to learn in order. In other words, you’re going to have the most critical items at the top of the list so that you can go over them first. This will make it so that you don’t waste a lot of time going over items that aren’t very helpful to you. This will also make it so that you can focus on items that relate to each other. For example, let’s say you want to go over advertising for a week. You can organize AdWords on day one, article marketing on day two and so on.
Finally, you want to make an actual schedule for all this information that fits in with your daily routine. You don’t want to spend too much time learning unless you’re really just starting out and can’t do anything else. However, if you’re in the middle of your business, you want to make sure that you spend the majority of your time actually working on your business and taking action. So maybe just spend an hour or so a day on learning. Once that hour is up, you put the tips away and start being productive.
If you can follow these three simple steps, you’ll find that your business will run a lot smoother and you’ll learn a lot more in the process.

Okay, so you’ve decided that you want to start your own home business but you’re totally clueless as to where to get your ideas from. Well, don’t panic. There are essentially three ways to get ideas for starting a home business. I’m going to go over them briefly in this article. Hopefully, after reading this, you’ll have plenty of ideas for your new business.
The first and probably easiest way is to look at your very own interests and skills. Most likely if there is something that you’re interested in, there are going to be other people interested in it as well. All you need to do is look to see where and how you can help others with what you know. The important part is to make sure that there is a sufficient enough demand to make it worth your while. This requires a little bit of research on your part.
Another great way is to look at what’s actually hot on the Internet right now. There are plenty of places you can go to do this. One of them is Ebay. If you head on over there, you can find what the hottest selling items on Ebay are at that point in time. In many cases, these could be niches that could turn into long term businesses. Think about when the Ipod first came out. Another place you can head to is Google Trends. There, you can find out what’s hot every hour on the hour.
Finally, you can choose a business model from simply observing life. For example, one day I took a ride in my car and noticed a greeting card store a few blocks away. It immediately made me think of online greeting cards as a business model…something that is very big today.
So you see, there are plenty of ways to get ideas for YOUR business. By looking at your interests, digging into what’s already hot or by simply avoiding life, you should have no trouble finding just the right fit for you.
All you have to do is spend a few minutes to come up with something.
