This one is actually for the upcoming release of the second set in the Return to Ravnica block, Gatecrash.<\/p>\n<p>I have to admit, there hasn&#8217;t been a lot of cards in this set that have really excited me. However, as a closet Johnny, one card really caught my eye in that of Biovisionary. The card reads as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Biovisionary &#8211; Creature Human Wizard<\/p>\n<p>At the beginning of the end step, if you control four or more creatures named Biovisionary, you win the game.<\/p>\n<p>The card costs 3 mana to cast &#8230; 1 blue, 1 green and 1 of any color.And it&#8217;s a 2\/3 creature so it has a decent amount of toughness to keep itself alive.<\/p>\n<p>Now, naturally, getting 4 of these onto the field at one time, since you can only have 4 of them in your deck, is a pretty tough accomplishment to say the least. However, we are not alone in our quest, for as you will soon see, we have a few cards that can help us get 4 of these out so fast that our opponents might not know what hit them.<\/p>\n<div style=\"float: right;margin: 3px;\"><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"pub-4025562143158908\";\ngoogle_alternate_color = \"FFFFFF\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 125;\ngoogle_ad_height = 125;\ngoogle_ad_format = \"125x125_as\";\ngoogle_ad_type = \"text\";\ngoogle_ad_channel =\"\";\ngoogle_color_border = \"\";\ngoogle_color_link = \"\";\ngoogle_color_bg = \"\";\ngoogle_color_text = \"\";\ngoogle_color_url = \"\";\ngoogle_ui_features = \"rc:0\";\n\/\/--><\/script>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\n  src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/div><p>For starters, we have these three cards.<\/p>\n<p>Clone<br \/>\nEvil Twin<br \/>\nCackling Counterpart<\/p>\n<p>Clone is a reprint from the old Alpha edition card that has come back to haunt us. For 1 blue and 3 of any color, you can make a copy of any creature on the battlefield. That includes Biovisionary. Now we&#8217;re up to potentially 8 in our deck.<\/p>\n<p>Evil Twin says &#8220;You may have Evil Twin enter the battlefield as a copy of any creature on the battlefield except it gains &#8220;UB, Tap : Destroy target creature with the same name as this creature.&#8221; Now obviously you don&#8217;t want to destroy your own creature but, it can copy Biovisionary to give you yet 4 more chances to get 4 out on the battlefield OR you can copy an opponent&#8217;s creature if it happens to become a thorn in your side.<\/p>\n<p>Cackling Counterpart &#8211; Put a token onto the battlefield that&#8217;s a copy of target creature you control.<\/p>\n<p>And &#8230; it&#8217;s an instant. So you can do it end of turn. But, here&#8217;s the best part.<\/p>\n<p>Because Cackling Counterpart makes a token, it has great synergy with cards in Return to Ravnica that populate tokens.<\/p>\n<p>Growing Ranks &#8211; At the beginning of your upkeep, populate. That means make a copy of a token that you control. Growing ranks only costs 4 mana to cast and you can pay it with green or white. Green just happens to be in the colors we&#8217;re playing.<\/p>\n<p>Before you know it, or more precisely, before your opponent knows it, he&#8217;s confronted with a bunch of Biovisionary creatures that win you the game just for being on the battlefield.<\/p>\n<p>Want to keep him from killing you? Play a lot of fog effects so that his attacks don&#8217;t do you any damage.<\/p>\n<p>In the current standard we have:<\/p>\n<p>Fog<br \/>\nDruid&#8217;s Deliverance (which also populates)<br \/>\nClinging Mists<br \/>\nMoonmist<\/p>\n<p>There you go.
