I began playing Magic in 1994 around Revised.
Why do they call me Land Boy?
When I first started, I had no idea how to create a deck. So I’d put a deck together with 20 land, 20 spells and 20 creatures. As a result, most of the time, I either got too little land (especially when my creatures were all big monstrosities) or too much land (when they were all weenie 1 drops)
In short … I was a disaster area.
Fast forward about 18 years and I’ve become a pretty decent player. Hopefully, this blog will help YOU to become a pretty decent Magic player as well.
At the very least, I don’t think anybody will be calling you land boy.
